Cleo is one of only a handful of Egyptian Vultures in human care in the United States—one of the brightest and rarest ambassadors of her kind. In the wild, her species has disappeared from much of its range, but Cleo’s story is one of hope. Captive-bred to inspire compassion, she helps thousands of people every year understand how vultures protect the planet by keeping ecosystems healthy and in balance.
