Hawk Creek has three WILD events coming up this June that you don’t want to miss!
Animal Play Day
6/14 1:00-4:00
Come see our animals as you never have before! This immersive and family-friendly event features behind-the-scenes and up-close encounters with Hawk Creek’s live raptors, corvids, wild cats, reptiles and exotic birds. Don’t miss the unique opportunity to see how we train our animal ambassadors and watch them play with enrichment. Watch as our wild cats stalk their toys, corvids figure out puzzles and mammals forage for snacks. Learn about the animals of the sky and feel the power of birds soaring overhead as our flying raptors invite you into their world with their aerial antics.
Refreshments, gift shop, flying bird demonstration, wild cat chat and a variety of training & enrichment activities scheduled through-out the event. Event parking is FREE and tickets are $16 for adults, $14 for veterans and seniors, $10 for children, and $45 for a family pass of up to 2 adults and 3 children (5-12 yrs). Children 4 and under are FREE. Tickets can be purchased at the gate or online.
Wild Photo Day

CAPTURE THE BEAUTY OF LIVE WILDLIFE THROUGH A CAMERA LENS. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to photograph beautiful wildlife up-close, without barriers, and in a natural setting. Recreational, amateur, and professional photographers are welcome! Eagles, owls, hawks, wild cats, and more await you. Bird flight demonstrations included.
Pre-registration is required as space is limited. Tickets are $60 per photographer, $30 per non-photographer (no camera) and can be purchased online.
Wild Wines of the World
6/21 1:00-4:30
Wine lovers – this one is for you! Spend an afternoon exploring the Wild Wines of the World at Hawk Creek’s 3rd annual wine fundraiser on June 21 from 1:00-4:30pm. Savor wine samples that hail from the same regions as some of our ambassador animals, such as Rufus the Bobcat and Cleo the Egyptian Vulture. Don’t miss the opportunity to meet all of Hawk Creek’s residents up-close and personal!
Journey around the world as you discover various regions’ wines and wildlife. You will feel like a VIP with 2 wine samples from each of four stations, a Hawk Creek wine tumbler, live music, flight demos, cat chat, the opportunity to feed a porcupine, and a photo holding a nonnative raptor. Delicious charcuterie boards available for purchase. Event is 21+ only, rain or shine!
