Verreaux’s Eagle
Onyx was hatched at SIA, the Comanche Nation Ethno-Ornithological Initiative and he is one of the first Verreaux’s Eagles to be hatched in the Western hemisphere. Through our partnership with SIA and their amazing international breeding and conservation programs we are honored to add this rare eagle to our education programs. There are very few of these raptors in the US, making Onyx a key ambassador for worldwide eagle conservation.

Photo with a life history of your adopted animal, fact sheet, an adoption certificate, and a Hawk Creek calendar.

Grandparent Level – $75

The above benefits plus two admission tickets (each good for one individual) that can be used for our Wild Earth Day, Animal Play Day, Enchanted Wild Fest or Spooky Safari!
