Loki

Common Raven

This male Common Raven was imprinted by a member of the public and then was either released or escaped. Thankfully he was found by a wildlife center volunteer when he flew onto their porch, hopped into their lap and yelled “Hi! Who’s momma’s good boy?” The volunteer immediately put young Loki in a box and took him to the rehabilitation center for assessment. After several failed attempts to reintegrate him with other ravens, he was sent to Hawk Creek to educate people about the amazing intelligence of corvids and the vital importance of taking orphaned and injured wildlife to trained, licensed rehabilitators for proper care.
