Frankincense (Boswellia sacra) is an essential oil with a medium-strength balsamic, rich, warm, slightly spicy, sweet, and woody aroma.

This rare oil may help improve the appearance of all skin types while toning and tightening the skin. The oil also may help fade the appearance of scars. Frankincense works as an expectorant to clear the nasal passageway, promote the relief of congestion, and encourage easy breathing (get for those who have asthma!). Frankincense may help prevent bad breath, toothaches, cavities and mouth sores. It appears to have strong antibacterial properties, which may help prevent and treat oral infections.

Frankincense essential oil can be added to a diffuser or vaporizer and inhaled, or topically!
