Virginia Opossum
Fossil, a Virginia Opossum, was found as an emaciated & lethargic youngster with an injured front leg. After four months of rehabilitation and physical therapy, it was determined that he could not be released into the wild due to lacking proper range of motion in his leg. This little guy has stolen our hearts as we continue his physical therapy and begin training as an ambassador- he has been an eager student that will do anything for a dollop of cottage cheese.
